**Saving the best for last** . It does seems like we are letting C1 experience the thrill of waiting for something that she really wants - delayed gratification, maybe? . She’s been pestering us for the longest time to get her ears pierced, since last year. I think it has got to do with the fact that her K2 friends were getting their ears pierced and hence she thinks it’s cool. . We decided to wait on this to see that it’s not just a passing phase, and also we were not sure of the rules in primary school with regards to ear piercings. . Well, this little girl kept pressing us about getting her ears pierced and we thought, why not make it memorable for her by taking her to get this done just days before she turns 7? . And so that’s what we did today...we didn’t tell her where we were going until we arrived at @bdazzle_sg in Wisma Atria. Really thankful for the recommendation from a fellow mummy as the team were very careful and meticulous throughout the whole process. They also helped to assure C1 that it won’t be painful and basically, treated her like a princess on a throne 🤣 . If you’re wondering how this works, you just need to pay for the studs - and the piercing, antiseptic solution and after care service are all included. Choose from a selection of studs from 14K and 18K gold to titanium and gold plated. We chose the 14K gold, in case she has my sensitive ears condition - my skin is sensitive towards materials such as silver and titanium, so gold is the best and safest choice. . After the piercing, which was done in less than a minute, the team explained about caring for the pierced site and gave us an appointment card to return for follow up 2 months later, just to check that things are ok. . This was quite a pleasant experience for all of us as we were looking for a proper place to get this done. 16.08 - After the school drop offs, it’s birthday date day with the hubby...where we got to do and eat everything we couldn’t when the kids are around. Like catch a movie (it’s been 2 yrs since our last!) and Korean food.
